Description
Now, more than ever, it is important to humanize educational technology support for remote faculty by providing them with real-time access to skilled staff members. To solve this problem on our campus, we instituted the Virtual Tech Hub, an online live portal for faculty technology training and troubleshooting.

Our presentation will share the planning and implementation of the Virtual Tech Hub at Chapman University, workflow and staffing, and faculty feedback. We will also show the importance of creating a virtual community for the faculty members to gain technical support and interact with their peers by joining conversations and sharing best practices about various applications and platforms.

Outcomes
  • How to plan to quickly and efficiently support the campus.
  • Gain an understanding of how data can increase support effectiveness.
  • Learn how to use collaborative technology to engage team members.
