Description
With the disruption of standard classroom teaching models due to the pandemic, we realized the return to in-person teaching will never be the same. In preparation for the big return, UCR invested in a new faculty support model and technology packages that elevates remote participation. Instructional Continuity Consultants were recruited from every academic department to support instructional delivery for in-person as well as remote courses. General assignment classrooms were upgraded with technology that will help increase student engagement and enhance learning, provide faculty with new tools that facilitate pedagogical exploration, and effectively expand UCR's campus blueprint digitally to accommodate a growing student population.

Outcomes
  • Explore flexible support model for instructional delivery
  • Assess UCR’s process for technology selection and adoption
  • Determine viable solutions for in-person and remote course delivery tools.
