To support DET/CHE members in developing essential leadership skills for higher education, the DET/CHE Leadership Program was created to support individuals wanting to expand their leadership skills. Designed using a cohort model, the year-long program will culminate at DET/CHE 2021. Participants will have completed the program by attending 8 monthly online presentations and discussions led by CA Higher Ed leaders on the challenges, successes, skills and issues facing today's Ed Tech leaders. Participants will complete the program with a final project that will focus on what it means to be a good leader, the mindset, skills, traits, vision, mentorship, coaching, etc. Participants will have an opportunity to share their experiences and a final project/reflection on the program.

  • A better understanding of professional development programming offered through DET/CHE
  • Assessment of the leadership program
  • Sharing of participants final projects and reflections on their experiences in the program.
