Four Unique Qualtrics Projects That will Make You Re-Think Your Existing Tools [General Session 1]

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Description
What do you do when the platforms & systems at your institution don't align with the needs of stakeholders or curriculum? Due to UCSF' larger health setting & the blending of experiences between courses in an integrated curriculum, the School of Medicine faces unique challenges addressing learner & faculty needs. Most schools use an LMS as the foundational organizer. In contrast, UCSF combines the campus LMS with other platforms to organize the curriculum; we must explore other platforms or innovate existing platforms to find solutions. Come along on our journey as the Technology Enhanced Education group shares how we leveraged a common feedback survey tool, Qualtrics, in unconventional ways: to deliver learning content, track student progress and manage assessment. We found Qualtrics to be a robust and flexible tool that worked well for all projects. We hope to inspire you to think creatively when barriers arise and consider technology hacks to address your challenges.

Outcomes
  • Identify four novel ways Qualtrics can help you and your learners (besides feedback surveys!)
  • Describe advanced Qualtrics features that you could use in your own projects
  • Think creatively about how existing tools can be used in unique ways
