Description
One positive outcome of the ongoing pandemic for higher education is innovation. Faculty have experimented with new technologies, modes of instruction, communication strategies, and assessments. But how do faculty demonstrate their innovations in traditional systems of evaluation that don't account for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced teaching? UCSC Online Education has developed a set of evaluation instruments and protocols to help faculty demonstrate their teaching excellence to promotion-and-tenure committees that also focuses evaluators on best practices and provides an opportunity for reflection and self-evaluation to faculty.
